Forward prospect Evander Kane of the Vancouver Giants is off to a ridiculous start so far in the WHL. He is currently ranked in the #10-12 range for the '09 draft, but his stock may increase drastically if he continues his strong play this season. 19 points in 9 games in the WHL is simply outstanding! Wow, good start for him. He's ranked 9th right now by TSN. He's really small though, only 5-11 160. I think we'll be picking far earlier than when he's slated to go, unless we pick up another pick somewhere.

That's a little better, I'm sure he'll be able to add some more muscle and get to 190. Still think that the Leafs have their eyes on someone else though, someone a little higher.

Ryan Ellis is a monster. 3 points today, bringing his season total up to 22 in 13 games.
He's 1 pt behind Tavares for the OHL scoring lead...

Evander Kane, currently listed in the 8-12 range of the '09 draft is absolutely murdering WHL competition.
As the WHL scoring leader, Kane's got 23 points in 11 games played, and has left Brayden Schenn (13 points) way back in the dust.
Wow.

Kane continues to tear up the WHL. 25 points in 13 games played and still the scoring leader.
Brayden Schenn is now at 15 points in 14 games played.

Ryan Ellis enjoys a 5 point night and take over the OHL scoring lead from Tavares and Hall.
Holy (Bleep)!
