Ummmmmm Good news?! Did I get it right?
Wasn't Hirsch the victim of that Forsberg move I've seen Stajan try a time or two? And I'm talking about Matt here, not Thomas.
As far as I can tell you're better off bringing in guys who have posted very high number in either games played/coached, points and save %. I dunno about PIMs but I could be swayed...

I find that's a very common misconception. Posting strong numbers in the NHL doesn't translate into being a good coach. Someone can be an amazing player but a poor teacher/coach just like you can be a good coach and a terrible player.

All the money MLSE has and the best they can do for a goalie coach is a never was in Corey Hirsch. Pathetic.

All the money MLSE has and the best they can do for a goalie coach is a never was in Corey Hirsch. Pathetic. Not really when you have Curtis Joseph as the real goalie coach. He's already expressed interest that once he retires he'd love to take on the responsibilities as goalie coach and I'd love to have him. Saw an interview with him where he was already offering advice and mentoring Justin Pogge during some on ice work outs. I'm not too worried in that regard.
