Boston just cleared $$ and space on their blueline with the trade of Aaron Ward for Patrick Eaves, who the Bruins just put on waivers for the purpose of buying out if he clears waivers. Per Leafs Lunch.

Your link was edited after 9:00, saying Morris hasn't yet officially signed with the Bruins. Just that they are one of several with interest. |

It's been edited twice since that again According to TSN, Derek Morris has signed a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the Bruins. My sources still aren’t clear on the money, but both agree with the TSN report that it’s a one-year deal. |
