I stepped away for a sec, who fought? Deveaux and Cullimore. Cullimore started early after a good hit by Deveaux and got an instigator penalty Edit: It was a roughing penalty, but most likely because he started early. It was kinda like they gave him a roughing penalty for instigating the fight. He may not be as tough as Belak but he certainly has more skills and in this day and age you need an enforcer that has tangibles.

One thing to look forward to is that they won't be as flat for the 2nd or 3rd One of things that changed from this year to last, they don't collapse in the latter stages. So yea expect a much better 2nd and 3rd.

He needs to get better in the fighting dept though. I think he will eventually improve his fighting.

It's nice to see that they aren't blowing leads in the 3rd anymore. Just got to fix the start now!!

speaking of biting, did anyone else see Joakim Anderson bite Tomas Hickey last night? Everyone seems to have missed it.

LOL!! Ruutu bit Peters!!
The TSN panel thinks he'll get about 4 games!!!
Peters looked a little stupid jumping up and down freaking out. It was through his glove, how much could it have hurt??

Speaking of tangibles, a few years ago, we rented ice out every once in awhile and played some pick up. One of the guys knew Tie Domi and he played with us once. Let me tell you against us he was like Wayne Gretzky. That just goes to show you that even the worst NHL player can kick our asses. Not saying Tie was the worst, far from it, but man was I impressed.

I played in a tournament in Fort Erie this past May for charity and Dan Paille was there. You could tell that he was going easy (basically coasting) and he still ran circles around our guys!!

Nice to see the GDT alive tonight, too bad it hasn't been that good of a game so far from what I gather.

Can you imagine getting completely undressed by Andy Wozniewski ;D
