Alec, the last 2 years I bought tickets for the Leafs "Blue and White" game. They were cheap and the seats were unbeatable. My son had a blast as we sat right behind the glass at both Ricoh and in Oshawa. A Kubina body check knocked my pop off the boards where I kept it thats how personable this event seemed. What happened to this years tilt? It is like it just disappeared....i am somewhat disappointed Edit for spelling lol

I have no idea why pre-season is so unnecessarily long.. should be 4, 5 games tops.

I remember when training camp was about getting ready for the season by working on systems and such and getting used to new teammates/linemates. How are they supposed to work on the new systems from the new coach if they are only on the ice for 2 days before their first preseason game? It has become all about $$$$$ in the preseason. That's why they charge full price for preseason games.

Hi Alec: Thoroughly enjoying the new site. Do you have any info on how to get onboard as a regular blogger? Is there an "audition" process? Thanks

They said on the radio becuase they added that "free" game against Buffalo that it took the spot of the annual Blue and White game. As for this free game, I wonder how many tickets actually got offered to the public? I have a funny feeling the majority was offered to season ticket holders and the good old coporate sponsors...ie Coke Zero.
