Burke just said on Versus that he isn't usually a big deadline guy but that will probably not be the case this year. Good!! He was on Hockey Central today and said that he'd like to get started early.

So many mental lapses, I think that's what's bugging me so much. Some of it's talent but a lot of it is laziness and stupidity. Infuriating hockey to watch these days. Losing was at least tolerable when we worked our asses off. One can always feel pride for a team that works it's hardest every night. These games against Buffalo are just the perfect example of the deranged mindset, this imminence to failure that utterly possesses the psyche of this entire team. What concerns me is the presence of this phenomenon since the lockout despite the variety of player which has gone through the turnstiles of MLSE. It's like freaking groundhog day and I'm wondering when we can wake up from this hellish nightmare!
