What are the leafs gonna do with Stempniak??? From what i remember his salary goes up the next 2 years. Just checked he has 1 year left at 3.5 Maybe he will be traded away next trade deadline. But his caphit is only $2.5mil. I think that he'll definitely be a candidate to move at next deadline, if he's still around.

2.5 next year and then UFA, same as what he got paid this year. Send him to the AHL, or maybe with a full camp in Toronto next year he turns it on. 3.5 next year He's getting paid $3.5mil next year, but the caphit is only $2.5mil.

He's getting paid $3.5mil next year, but the caphit is only $2.5mil. For Toronto the cap hit isn't a big problem for the leafs as they will have lots of cap space but then again they also have lots of money so ya they will prob just let him play in hopes he turns it around.
