I'm making a bold prediction here. Williams will never spend another day in the AHL, unless its conditioning.

The ACC crowd should start yelling "shoot" whenever Williams touches the puck, no matter his location on the ice

Tank Nation should lower their flags half mast because it just ain't happening. ;D I was thinking the exact same thing... this line-up is a real winning combination. It's not the veterans that are keeping this team afloat necessarily either, Williams, Antropov, Stajan, Ponikarovsky, Grabovski... to a lesser extent Mitchell and Kulemin. I think we should move Kaberle or Kubina and Blake if at all possible but outside of that I don't see why you would move anybody else... possibly Toskala.

Get an additional first rounder, try to trade up... I don't get this firesale idea.
There are very few vets left on this forward core and its the eight best unit in the league production wise.

Looking the schedule the leafs could conceivably real off 8 wins in a row starting tonight, 9 if you want to include the win the other night.
Dallas, NYI, Washington, Atlanta, Buffalo, Ottawa, Florida. If accomplished, that could put them close to the top of the conference.

I agree.. except that washington, buffalo and Florida always give the Leafs a hard time.

Blake has been getting it pretty bad ever since he became a leaf but recently he has been playing good hockey on both sides of the puck. Kudos should be sent is way.

148 rookie games played this year for the leafs, tops in the league. This never would have been possible without Sundin's departure.
