Kaberle is terrible in his own zone. He's afraid to hit anyone. He stood by and just watched as the Oiler took 3 wacks at the puck!!! Tonight could not have illustrated any more patently the Kaberle paradox.

White for his size must hit like a brick, Penner tried to avoid his hit.

Tonight could not have illustrated any more patently the Kaberle paradox. It's so frustrating, cause he's so good with the puck but so bad without it. It almost look like he backed away from the battle on that play. You got to protect your goalie in that situation. His positioning on that play was beyond brutal. If he was positioned better, he wouldn't have to battle as much.

Schenn really hasn't played all that much so far tonight.

Leafs entered this game as the most disciplined team in the league, might not be after 60 minutes.
I think it's a result of the Oilers' speed. Both Calgary and Edmonton have made the Leafs, who are fast in their own right, look a step behind and that tends to result in penalties. I think we are getting some pretty useful insight here as to why the West has been superior.

While we're not getting destroyed in these two games, they are showing their speed and grit is ahead of the Leafs.

Linesman missed the offside call that resulted in the Leafs goal.
We'll take it!!

Has Stajan been credited with the second goal? It was to hard to tell who got the tip on it, he or Kulemin.

Yet another point for Stajan. Jebus. That was a sweet steal by Stajan to intercept the pass at the blueline. He's really clicked with Antro. I like his game right now. He's kinda looking like he did near the end of the year while Sundin was out.
