omg Blake with the breakaway at the end and he just SKATES INTO THOMAS... a goat on skates and a stick in its mouth could play better hockey than Blake. Blake is so bad it's ridiculous. He's bought out at the end of this season.

Where is this goat and is is available to be signed?? I am sick and tired of Blake. Get rid of this useless tool. He makes others around him worse, cause they have to make up for his gaffs. I've never seen a guy that is so eager to shoot (even from terrible angles with no one in front of the net) that can't seem to put the trigger when he has his best opportunity. This guy shoots at bad times from the wrong place, but can't seen to shoot when he has the puck at the right time and the right place. What's with him??

Leafs record stands at 5-5-4 through the first 14 games played. 82 point pace, which is 1 less than what they had last season.

He's bought out at the end of this season. I don't want that cap hit for 3 years after the contract expires. 3 more years $12mil. 75% buyout over double time is $1.5mil for 6 years. That would put $1.5mil cap hit 3 years longer than the actual contract. Just put him on waivers and send him to the minors or loan him to the KHL or something. The Leafs have plenty of money. The buyout saves them $3mil, but costs them cap space for 3 years beyond the contract length.

I don't want to see them finish 9 or 10 and just miss the playoffs again.I think that they will slide as the season goes on, and slide even more after the trade deadline and they will finish far back of the playoffs.

An 82 point pace would actually have them finish worse than last season when they got 83 points. 82 points would give them 7th last, and likely RW Jordan Schroeder or C Evander Kane.

It would be nice if they could get higher than 7th. But that's probably the highest they will finish. f you look at the teams right now and how they are playing there are 10th in PTS%. There are teams like Philly and Ott that I think will be above Toronto at the end of the year. The teams close to them like CLB and PHX will probably be ahead of them too. I think it comes down to (in no particular order) LA, NYI, ATL for the bottom of the barrel. Then there's FLA, TO, STL on the next rung. That leaves the Leafs in 7th at worse, as I see it.

Don't worry about Blake guys, by the time our rebuild is done, he'll be in another contract year and will put up 40 goals /end sarcasm.
