God. That was a pretty bad collapse rite there. Get it together boys! Too much standing around, too many penalties. RW better get them going to start the 3rd. They need to be better for the 3rd than they were at the end of the second.

Ron Francis has the makings of a great NHL GM someday.

It's a stupid time to have a game, and I don't like that they play in a different city less than 24 hrs later. Fatigue shouldn't be an excuse though, this is a young team and they took some players out, to get the extras some work.

That isn't the start they needed.
Joseph has had zero help in front tonight.

Almost put it in there!! If they can make this PP look like that last shift they'll have a good chance.

Crappy end to the 2nd period does the Leafs in. This was a winnable game that they let get away.
Kaberle and Kubina were pretty weak tonight. Haven't liked either of their games much this year. I know that they can be better, and they need to be.

Nice try by the Leafs late, but you can't expect to come back every night. Gotat put in a 60 minute effort.

Nice try by the Leafs late, but you can't expect to come back every night. Gotat put in a 60 minute effort. That's what I was afraid of. Not putting in a full 60 min effort. Good signs through out the game despite the bad end to the 2nd period, weak PK and too many penalties. Hopefully RW drives home the point and they are ready to go on Tues for the rematch. Got to repay the Hurricanes for that road loss.
